How Girls Camp Is Organized This Year

A PURPOSEFUL SHIFT

This year’s Girls Camp has been designed with intention, structure, and spiritual focus. Rather than organizing camp primarily by wards, young women will participate in age-based levels for the duration of camp.

This approach allows us to:

Meet girls at their developmental and spiritual stage

Create stronger connection and belonging within the Stake

Provide consistent leadership and mentoring

While this may feel different than camps in the past, this structure has been prayerfully planned to best support the girls.

HOW LEVELS WORK

This year we are camping in

Age-Based Levels

Each young woman is assigned to a level based on her age/grade.
Her level becomes her core group throughout camp—where she builds friendships, participates in discussions, and returns for connection and support.

LEVEL 1

Level Leader: Stacey Packard

Level 1 age young women are those young women CURRENTLY in the 5th grade

LEVEL 2

Level Leader: Amy Thompson

Level 2 age young women are those young women CURRENTLY in the 6th grade

LEVEL 3

Level Leader: Jenn Leavitt

Level 3 age young women are those young women CURRENTLY in the 7th grade

LEVEL 4

Level Leader: Deb Prince

Level 4 age young women are those young women CURRENTLY in the 8th grade

LEVEL 5

Level Leader: Kim Hatch

Level 5 age young women are those young women CURRENTLY in the 9th grade

YCL's

YCL Advisor: JoAnn Nef
